I was at a Bell Center game back in 2010, wearing my Kings replica sweater... but it wasn't a big deal cause it happened to be the Caps who were in town. I think not being able to speak French got me more looks than my sweater. I liked the Bell Center for a game-watching experience -- and I liked even MORE that I was able to get from my hotel to it in the -10 weather without ever coming outside -- the Underground/RESO is fantastic.

Posted this in the GDT yesterday, but I thought it was interesting if somewhat trivial so here goes again:

LA has their highest alltime winning percentage against Ottawa (19-7-2) or 71%.

Now tonight, they play a team that absolutely owned them historically. Kings have gotten just 28.5% of points against the Canadiens. Almost the inverse of their record against the Sens.

Should be a good game either way, hope they're not too gassed from a pretty high tempo game yesterday.

But how many of those losses came at the hands of them in the first 10 years. When expansion teams where just there to be beat on by the O6 teams. And even the next 10 it wasn't much better.

Absolutely, and the same is true against those hapless early Sens teams. Has no bearing on the game whatsoever, but the weird coincidence of 71% versus 28.5% seems kind of crazy. Yin Yang.

I believe the Kings still lead the all time series against the Red Wings oddly enough.

As a Habs fan I don't like playing the Kings.
1- I love the Kings
2- always a chance we get blown out
3- it means once they've played I can't look forward to seeing them in Montreal for a whole year (or SC finals)

Good game!!!

Flipped on the TV to a Clippers game. That explains why FSW is not available.

So that means all three Staples Center teams are playing tonight. That doesn't happen too often.

Never get tired of seeing Doughty fall off the bench trying to go celebrate.

All 3 plus the Ducks no less.

It would not surprise me if we see some kind of strange call go against the Kings tonight. Weird crap always happen in MTL.
