Is it just me or are the games in Montreal hardly ever televised by Fox Sports? Why is that?

Actually no clue but I get to practice my French by listening to some of the games on the radio when I hear them on XM.

There are many places. Fox sports goes into Nevada, Hawaii, Central CA and San Diego. So there are many regions that won't get the game.

I think on the coast it goes to Santa Maria just because once you get to SLO county you are just 3 hours from San Jose and they get the rights.
So sounds like Kern county gets it in the central valley and guessing Fresno doesn't. Either way they have a huge zone they are in.

Going to the game in MTL tonight. Should be a great one. I'll be wearing my jersey but the fans over there are a lot more tough than the ones in Ottawa. I'll be wearing a jacket on top, just in case..... Haha

A bit OT, but what really angers me is with newer technology we were supposed to build upon advances. But we always lose something, although benign, but useful nonetheless. Just as recently as 5 years ago I can watch old UHF channels 2-13 over the air with a pc tuner, most in glorious HD at no cost. Now, I'm sure most cable companies are switching over to all digital and getting TV out of the wall is no longer available unless you rent (free only for a limited time) a DTA adapter! Now my pc tuner, although still functional, lost all HD as everything is in SD. I could use my PC EPG but I have to change channels independently so recordings can match the information. If I wanted to record a Kings game but forget to manually change the channel, I get something like horse racing recorded on a different channel eventhough the EPG says I'm recording the right channel. Sucks because afternoon games and road games I mostly have to miss due to work. Thank god FSW and FSPT have evening replays recently if I mess up or forget to record. Sorry about the OT. Now back to our typical GDT!

Good idea to wear a helmet when at Habs games. Fans have a habit of throwing everything on the ice except wives and girlfriends.
