So if I wanted tickets to USA-Canada I'd need to buy tickets to USA-Slovakia, Finland and Norway plus Canada-Finland, Slovakia Norway plus Finland-Slovakia, Norway, plus Slovakia-Norway?

Ten games?

Yup. At ~$80 each. :(

Yeah, I went to the games in Calgary and got tickets to all the round robin games plus the medal round games. This is a part of the reason many non-Canadian games have good attendance.

I know people who were able to purchase tickets to the semi-final against Russia through stub hub, but they haven't told me how much they paid

Thanks guys.

Guess I'll just go on the secondary market. I can't imagine that US games will be overpriced. Probably a bunch of Canadians with tickets trying to dump them.

Canada had better make the semis or all of us that bought the Toronto ticket packages won't even get to see them play

What benefits were there? I don't think I saw any

Participating in the event would be the main benefit...but from the website:

Volunteer Nike apparel - retail value: $ 200
You Will Be Provided one meal and one snack Each shift
Post-event volunteer appreciation party
Be apart of an international event

We have a group that will be coming up to see a US round robin game. I know its an imperfect science but can anybody estimate what we'll pay in the secondary market for a game (not the Canada v USA game; just a random first round game)? Thx in advance.

If Canada is not playing, the price may not be bad at all. They might even go cheap - $20 or less.

From your mouth to God's ear......that would be fantastic. Hope you're right. Thank you.

Try and go to as many games as you can - even the Malaysia vs Transylvania game. Those games are so much fun and very inexpensive on StubHub. You enjoy the smaller games as much as the bigger ones because there is less pressure, less of a rooting interest and you can just enjoy watching the kids play.

Thats the plan....can only be there a couple days so just going to try to cram in as much as possible. Thanx again.

So it looks like Canada/USA might not play at the ACC until the semi-finals? Good thing I bought tickets to see all the Denmark - Switzerland action. Who wants my seats for Group B's prelims?
Section 101, Row 20, Seat 16.

Canada v USA play the final game of the prelims on New Years Eve. Should be epic....

edit...I see what you mean... at the ACC. gotcha.

they outlined that in selling the tickets, i am excited to watch the games when canada makes it over to the ACC, but they are not the only team in this tournament
