Am I the only one thinking this GDT is in very poor taste? I'm far from a prude BTW but I don't see this as a way of cheering on your team, whether they are losing or not.

I can't speak for MIG, but personally I like the idea of poking fun at the team when it's called for. Besides, after the last few games, I think we all deserve a much needed laugh.

Thanks MIG, you always deliver. :)

Will still watch the game despite these past 2 incredibly bad performances. Will still praise the team when they do something right. Will still criticize if nothing is changed (way they breakout, no cycle game, no crisp passes, dumping the puck on the PP when forwards are standing still at the blue line, etc).

I'm not as mad as most users are here ... maybe because there still plenty of hockey to be played. It's a really really long season hence a marathon. I don't know why but I honestly think this team will be able to get out of this huge funk. Someone / something / some event will change the synergy within the team. Not a fan of Michel Therrien but he has been able to bounce back (result wise) especially last year after some losing streaks.

Keys for tonight victory (less than 5% chance of all this happening but still):

-Use the depth efficiently and play the best players available. That means Sekac and Bourni are in while Bork and Prust/Moen are out.

-Play the right players at the right spot. That means no more Weise on 1st line, Sekac and Bourni get 3rd line minutes.

-Swap your LW for a change. That means Pac and Chucky swap lines, might give DD and Pac the wake-up call they need.

-Use your absolute best players on the PP. I'd like to see a Pac-Plek-Chucky line as first wave. You know, something other teams aren't used to that might do something unpredictable. I know it's ridiculous, right? :sarcasm:

-Stop playing dump and chase. We are a possession team that should use speed and fast transition play. We might not be the best in the league at it, that doesn't mean we shouldn't play according to our strengths.

That would leave us the following lineup:

Chucky - DD - PAP
Pac - Plek - Gally
Bourni - Eller - Sekac
Moen - Malhotra - Weise

Emelin - Subban
Markov - Gilbert
Tinordi - Beaulieu (I know, they're both LH, but in my mind Weaver is our 7th D-man. Probably won't happen anyways)

My prediction, MT ices another terrible roster, Habs win 4-1. Post game conference has MT smiling and acting smug and complacent.

Same lineup as last night or does Therrien :dunce: make an adjustment by making Galchenyuk a healthy scratch and putting in Moen. Maybe Galchenyuk could use a game to watch the game from the pressbox and get a different perspective :dunce:

Don't forget no one will ask him potentially embarassing questions about his decision, we'll hear another rant about da plan, effort/indiscipline, we didn't pay attention to detail, etc

Optional practice this morning... Only 5 players show up.

Price, Tokarski, Beaulieu, Bourque, and Moen.

Price has no business being there. He deserves a break.

My bad guys, I haven't watched a Habs game since the end of the first period in Edmonton.

Can't watch tonight's one either. :(
