As expected. Has brought nothing to the PP and frankly, doesn't bring much at even strength

I said this from day one. Gonchar is old, useless and terrible and shouldn't be in the lineup.

About time people start to realize this.

horrible passing team overall
can't hit the net
soft as a baby's butt in front of their net
PP can't score

But hey MT.... you just keep those blinders on...

Yeah, that's why I've said he's been bad lately (and have asked for a demotion). You're so ridiculous it's not even funny anymore.

I used to think so highly of you. Goodbye, Kriss.

You just pumped him up. And how was he one of the better players in the first?
And if you're putting someone on your ignore list because you have a disagreement on a topic, you need to grow some thicker skin.

Gonchar's got 20 years experience playing the PP, and he's never seen anything like ours. No wonder he's not contributing. It's mesmerizingly random and passive.

Totally agree. Bergevin was on a mission to dump salary, not acquire over the hill talent...to free up salary next year we have now the worst D in the league. Habs would be better with Nathan and Tinordi in the line up. If nothing else they would be developing.

Yeah Gonchar has been a non factor other than the first few games with us. At least he hasn't been a complete liability like he was with the Stars

We created a few chances, but the blackhawks are just superior in their zone and they generate a lot of offense by how effectively they move the puck up the ice.

People dump on Gonchar, Gilbert, Allen, Weaver, Emelin, Beaulieu, and Tinordi. Even PK got his share of criticism. Markov is the one that gets away with the least criticism.
Time for you guys to understand the players aren't really the issue.

They have true top 6 players...Habs, not so much. They have superior Dmen. Not a fair fight

Emelin , weaver, gonchar, gilbert, allen are all problems on defense

you can have 1 of them on your team, maybe 2, but ALL of them?

god

its even worse poor 36 yr old markov is on the first pairing and hes not too quick as well :/.. hes great, but this collective team D slowness is going to get us NO where

its pretty amazing, gonchar and gilbert and weaver and allen have taken away Beaulieus and Tinordis spots ... mind blowing really..

they just cant be overall worse players than these OLD and slow veterans... makes no sense to me i love bergy but i believe he may of messed up our D bad, for this year tho

Watching Blackhawks feed, they're talking about defenders being encouraged going to rush and how, they play on their instincts...
