Shane and Taker as the Mania main event in 2016 is just depressing.

2 weeks out and that was Monday Night Raw?? You would have no idea its Mania season. Terrible Raw aside from Dean/Brock, Lackluster isn't even a word. The actual Shane/Taker match might be fun but this whole thing is just terrible right now and Im a big fan of both. Terrible segments regarding this match have me and probably many others quickly losing interest. Outside of Shanes return and the announcement of the match the whole build up has been utter garbage with botched promos, 3 word segments that didn't make sense etc. They are lucky its in Jerry world as people will go just in itself for the venue experience alone.

^^ I said that from the beginning and got ridiculed a bit around here. Shane vs. Taker in 2016. Almost 50 years of age averaged (48) between two men. 2016 this isn't a main event and I didn't think it was possible to have worse punches than Dean Ambrose.

I would rather watch Kelly Kelly hit the ropes then Taker sell those punches. The story makes zero ****ing sense. (please note sarcasm...)

They are to lazy to tell the story, which they always ****ing do. Creative rarely wants to do the actual leg and build an actual story.

Its chicken without head levels.

Thing I like about Mania:
- AJ vs. Jericho: Feud feels good and right. Simple storyline and good stuff, imo.
- Dean vs. Lesnar: Feels like a main event.
- Sasha vs. Flair vs. Becky: Right girls in this feud.
- HHH: I like HHH's part against Reigns. I just wish it wasn't for the belt.

Things I ****ing hate:
- Tag match could be awesome but isn't because League of Booty sucks.
- Owens should have a one on one match... instead Ryback does?!
- I hate being forced to think Roman Reigns is the face
- Shane/Taker sucks

I typically like reading KB's write-ups. He keeps a level head and never really falls for the internet reactions. Here is his write up on tonight's show... (dead on if you ask me):

Overall Rating: D+. Well that was something. It’s like they suddenly remembered that Wrestlemania is in less than three weeks but forgot that they haven’t done jack yet. Some of the stuff on there is fine (Brock vs. Dean) and can help fix a lot of the issues so it’s not a total loss, but stuff like HHH vs. Reigns is firmly in car wreck territory. The midcard stuff is better but the two main events are absolute disasters at this point. This show could be one of the biggest disasters in years unless they pull off a miracle (which they could). Right now it really does feel like they’ve run out of ideas and are throwing in whatever they can to make this work, which is almost never a good idea.
