How can Bray cost JUST Brock the match? Just 2-3 weeks ago he used the 'Anybody but you Roman....' line again. Would be a very odd break in continuity if he attacked Brock and just let Roman win.

WWE logic. There are Rumors that they are thinking of a Bray @ Brock at Wrestlemania and other than them throwing him out of the rumble there is likely going to be zero build till after Fastlane. So you would have to think something will have to happen there.

Just the way i see it.

listen, i know you MTL fans are still mad about 10-4 this week, but there IS a difference b/t Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus... :D

People do need to realize this.

IF WWE paid attention to stuff like this, it'd be a better show. They think their fans are dumb, therefore they lose fans over time.

"Sasha Banks... I don't know what her deal is." - Dave Meltzer

- Randy Orton may be able to avoid surgery on the neck for a bit of time.
- Sheamus has tendinitis in his arm and it's not determined how long he'll be out, but it's not supposed to be a long-term injury. He's still expected to be on TV in the Barrett role.

I think I'm in the minority... but Meltzer ****ing sucks. I listen to those podcasts and it's just so poorly done. They rave over everything from NJPW. I'm not saying NJPW isn't good, but it's not an easy watch. I can't stand the other guy on the podcast because he's one of the poorest speakers of all time. He has no charisma and he cuts off Meltzer and goes off topic all the time.

When they talk about WWE, they find all the faults. When they talk about NJPW, they highlight the good. I would honestly rather listen to Mark Madden discuss wrestling because he at least had a gimmick and enough charisma to pull it off while occasionally throwing a bone to a good discussion. Hell.. I'd even rather listen to those guys over at WrestleZone, even though all they do is bicker.

Anyone know of a weekly podcast worth a damn?

I love Cheap Heat.

Vestige of Grantland. A little rosey on the WWE at times, and not heavy on the rumor mill mongering, but it's smarky enough. The hosts have great chemistry too, which really makes the show.

Meltzer is a terrible speaker. And writer. He really really needs an editor. But he does know his ****, so the info is good. He's always been pro-Japan, 'cos that's what he likes. He'll tell you as much too. He's good due to his contracts and knowledge, not 'cos of his presentation. If you want presentation you're not going to find it at all.

And you can't complain about him focusing on negatives, it's all anyone ever does here too xD.

What's Big Dave got to say about Sasha?

They were talking about Rusev Tweeting about the wrestling podcasts being a bunch of liars and then they brought up Sasha and Orton as incidents where Meltzer brought up their injuries only for them to deny it.

She's one of the (many) injured wrestlers who have taken a shot at Meltzer on Twitter for outing them as injured. He's been right every single time.

So he was just being pissy that the people he reported on didn't want that news out there.

It was more like just a quick wrap up. He wasn't upset or trying to make it a big deal, it was just Meltzer and his confused voice.

They shouldn't be upset at Dave considering he was correct on the injury situations, they should be mad at the company they work for that has people leak this stuff to him. Or just beat Dave to it and report injuries themselves.

WWE never self-reports injuries unless they're major injuries, so I can seem them getting upset and uppity when it gets out.

He wasn't pissy at all. It was more in the tone of "I was right, she was injured, so..." because she told him to get a life on Tumblr.

I think the performers get annoyed when minor injuries come out because it does start a bit of a storm where fans bombard their social media trying to get answers and it messes with kayfabe a bit (ya it's pretty much dead but people still get touchy over it).

In Sasha's case ya she was hurt and off for a few weeks but her return is now a big angle.

Not Dave's fault. He is just doing his job but I can see both sides.

Also everyone seems more sensitive about injury news as everyone is treated like defcon 1 with all the big injuries around.
