They might pair Owens with Styles, I'd imagine. Have that Rumble elimination pay-off.

I think Jericho would also be involved in that. Maybe a triple-threat match for a number one contender's match at the IC Title.

Styles wins, Styles vs. Ambrose on Raw ends with KO doing a run-in and we have a fatal-four way match at Wrestlemania for the IC Title.

Although, two 3-way matches for a number one contender's match might be a bit much. Maybe Owens vs. Styles one-on-one with Jericho either acting as referee or being on commentary to "scout".

Lesnar/Ambrose/Reigns
Owens/Styles
Charlotte/Becky/Sasha
Harper-Rowan/Usos/New Day
Kalisto/Neville
Strowman/Show (if the rumour is true...)

and two or three more matches in there.

Feels to soon to have that and they can't afford either guy taking a loss IMO right now. Not in a mid card non title match anyway.

Styles/Jerhico makes the most sense short term as it lets Styles get a win without harming someone as he moves up.

No need. Fans are going to want to see Styles vs Owens, no need to rush it to capitalise on an elimination. Especially with both guys need wins right now.

True, but it is a possibility considering the report that WWE wants to make Fast Lane a bigger event, plus they might extend the feud to WM.

Still now isn't the time for either guy to eat a pin in a zero stakes match.

KO especially needs some wins since he lost to Dean a few times in a row now.

Jericho getting involved for a screwy finish protects KO (he tries distracting AJ, it backfires).

Or, just do Styles vs. Jericho in a number one contender's match, have Kevin Owens in another match where it's essentially a squash (Ziggler seems to be KO's punching bag lately). Styles wins, get a Raw title match where Owens gets involved, Jericho is still in the picture and we get the four-way at Wrestlemania.

Fastlane:

Lesnar/Ambrose/Reigns
Styles/Jericho
Owens/Ziggler
Wyatt/Kane
Strowman/Show
Rowan-Harper/Usos/New Day
Kalisto/Neville
Charlotte/Sasha/Becky

Strowman is pretty green
...because surely you can't mean one of the most wasted talents on the roster

Obviously I mean Strowman. The Wyatts are experiencing the Shield-like transformation, when more talented wrestlers are put aside to push the biggest guy.

I think calling up Zayn solves some problems.

Have a 4-way number one contender match at Fastlane, with the winner facing Ambrose later on. To pick the participants, we have a set of matches on Raw/Smackdown:

Styles vs Harper (it'll be a great match, but it's not one you can really sell so it's fine for TV)
Zayn vs Miz
Jericho vs Zigler
Owens vs Ryback

Giving us the 4-way of Styles vs Zayn vs Jericho vs Owens.

Jericho is pinned by Styles while Owens is busy beating up Zayn. Gives Owens a 'visual win', kinda, and gives an excuse to have Zayn vs Owens (part 1) happen in the near future.

Then for Styles vs Ambrose, we can ruin that by having Owens get involved if needed. Zayn with the save to split Owens away from Styles (save that for later). This lets us do Styles vs Ambrose again at 'Mania, where I think Styles should win.

WWE has erased all existance (that they can) of Flair kissing becky.

Guess it wasn't scripted afterall or all the soccer moms must have gotten to them again.

Yay, it's Monday. There is almost zero intrigue for tonight's show.

They used to do this very well back in the 80's with many non-finish matches (during the attitude era as well but not as good)

Of course in the 80s kayfabe was till very much alive and well so the heel would either cheat VERY obviously to win, or there would be a DQ/Count out type of finish.

The problem is today's crowds **** on non-finishes, so the WWE has lost one of their main ways to protect guys in match ups

really not excited about this RTWM yet, the fast lane triple threat is so ****ing illogical...

There is only a couple things that would get me a little bit excited about WM and thats either they swerve us and Dean wins a fast lane or a return of DB. Neither looks very likely so this is likely going to be a terrible RTWM.
