Yanks playing down to their opponents again.Real shame how many bad losses they've had this year to bad teams.

Bird is lost at the plate.Missing pitches he should be crushing.Time to lock this game down Chapman.

Hicks gets hit,Chapman now out of the game.We are dropping like flies at the wrong time.

Austin Jackson's BABIP is like .952 or something. I can't wait until he's re-signed simply for being cheap and willing.

Not that there's anything necessarily wrong with cheap and willing.
I think they'll resign him....he's Calloway's Tanner Glass.

I grew up initially watching the Mets, but then I began watching a lot of the Orioles when we moved from Long Island down to Maryland. So, I wasn't really "brought up" watching either league much more than the other. I say that because I always thought the DH was silly, and that everyone that's in the game when you're in the field should also have to take some swings when you're up to bat. I get that pitching was becoming too dominant when they implemented the DH back in the 70s, but I don't really think that's the case anymore. Not arguing for any change--I think it's fine the way it is.

I wouldn't add a DH. I'd rather just go to an 8 man lineup and not have the pitcher hit.
Interesting, but doubtful if the PA would be down with that. At least if you replace the pitcher with a DH you’re creating more positions to fill.

NYY lost 2 of our aces to injury with pitchers running the bases (Wang - career ended pretty much, Tanaka DL stint). I'll always hate it.
