Britton hasn't been good all year so I don't know why you would bring him in to try and close out the game.

Futhermore, he's better against lefties than righties and the Tigers had a lineup of all righties/switch hitters yesterday which is even more reason to not bring Britton in.

So what you are saying is that Boone made the right choice? That won't go down well in these parts.
 
He'll do less damage at 1st than 3rd.
3rd or DH.1st would be too difficult for him to pick up.Come playoff time i'd prefer him off the field defensively to be honest.1 mistake could cost you a game or series.

Mostly that Britton has not been a great pitcher in two years - as I said when the trade was made. He's been a low strikeout and wild pitcher for his last 70 appearances who salvages his game and gets decent results because he's the premier GB pitcher in the league.
