Unfortunately, even if the Yankees win the Wild Card game, they'll probably just get destroyed by the Rays.

If they don't make the playoffs, Boone is most likely let go so that's not a bad thing.

They could win it all,and hes still probably gone.

I prefer a three way tie scenario (if NYY win) because then Toronto has to go through a b2b2b2b of four different stadiums/teams to make it out of the wildcard.

Had to do it. This isn't the job for a manager to develop in. There's too much nonsense involved.

Rojas would be perfect for Miami, Kansas City, etc with young teams in markets with low expectations. He is a players coach and a good soldier of the organization, however, he lacks the feel/decision making for the hard call. For example, keeping a pitcher in when he's in a groove or intentionally walking a hitter even if it goes against the analytics based on how that player is currently swinging.

There is a team with 106 wins that has to play a Wildcard game.

This was an odd year.
Jays also played the majority of their home games on the road .....they will be fine next year. Young exciting club and losing like this is a lesson. No tears shed here .

Cole isnt healthy, its obvious to see.He hasnt been good since coming back.

Cole couldnt believe it,but he has nothing tonight. They are all over his fastball.
