Just the second best team in the series, like every other year.
How many more times we gotta watch this before we try something else?

Green has been bad this year also.
Compare the payrolls. It's not close. We're paying Crapp $17 million a year to throw battting practice. Their entire bullpen probably costs less than that. His pitching staff is absolutely stacked... Don't know about no resources

That's my point though. The Rays GM is doing more with less monetary resources.Talking about overall quality without respect to how much $$ they make
Hell of a playoff from Stanton, shame it’s most likely going to be wasted.
Sadly, Cashman seems to be untouchable for some reason. Not much else to say. This team is limited when it matters most in producing quality at bats.Too many easy outs for opposing pitchers. The bullpen is a disaster as is the rotation after Cole.If Cashman survives the off-season,this team needs a major overhaul in multiple areas
Career in the playoffs...233 average with 49 strikeouts in 120 at batsJudge has been atrocious. 3 for 25 with 9 Ks.

All for it. But it wont happen because of his issues with Cole
He also traded for Sonny Gray instead of Verlander. That move might have cost us multiple titles.Hey anybody here remember when the Rays drafted Glasnow? Remember when the Rays drafted Charlie Morton???
Oh you mean they traded for Glasnow and signed Morton. You mean their GM actually did his job when it came to pitching needs?!?!?
Instead Cashman Signs guys like Happ and holds on to Frazier, who he won't even start over the rotting corpse of Brett Gardner and holds onto Andujar who is someplace in an alternate universe because he can't stop a beach ball in this one.
Yankees have been to the World Series in every decade since the 1920s...except for the one where Brian Cashman had total control of the team that represented the Yankees on the field. He's made some good and great moves during his tenure as GM, no doubt, but at some point it's a results business and with all the money he has to play with at all levels, the results just aren't there.
