The Yankees have given me all kinds of reason to trust them for the past 3 years, I trust them until they give me reason not to..

Best farm system in baseball, and one hell of a core building.
 
Schmidt's upside is a good #3. That's a very good pitcher right there and obviously Yankees would've gone through the medicals and there aren't any long term concerns. Pre-injury Schmidt's stock was on the rise and was mocked mid to late 1st. Not disappointed with this pick, just a little bit puzzled with Peterson and Faedo on board. Even a highly rated prep arm like DL Hall. Would love to see/hear why they'd have Schmidt over those guys.
 
Peterson is very good. Great value pick at 20.

I'm glad they didn't take a prep arm...

But this isn't the college P that I wanted. Don't understand this at all unless they're going to save money and pop a stud and go over slot later, then I'll just pretend they took that guy in the 1st and this guy later :laugh:

That is most likely the plan. MLB draft is weird. Its surrounded by all sorts of economic voodoo.

Don't like picking players with early picks who's upside is only #3. Reminds me of when the Jays went all in with Deck McGuire because he was the 'safe' pick.

Pretty disappointed TBH. TJ and ****ed up mechanics.

His mechanics aren't that bad, don't listen to Law.

They went with a signability guy in Sauer with their 2nd round pick so I'm more or less okay with their 1st pick.

While he won't pitch till 2018 he also happens to be advanced. By mid 19 he could debut.
 
Why is Mike Scioscia always on camera?

I've counted and we've seen him 13 times in 4.5 innings.

Every time we play the Angels, the camera cuts to him like every third pitch.
 
Didi hitting .340 with a .510 SLG and .869 OPS with very good defense..

We got him for Shane Greene.
