No need for Duda. Offense isn't the issue with this team.

Their schedule after the break is crazy brutal. Very likely that they're shipping players out instead of adding guys by the end of the month.

Severino has regressed lately. I'm perfectly happy with playing the kids and selling at the deadline. This team is going nowhere this year.

What a HUGE come from behind win today for the Yanks.Clint has unreal bat speed and power

Pitchers have their off days: see Stephen Strasburg lately. Some dominant starts mixed with some not so dominant starts. Not claiming anything here but that even elite pitchers have their struggles too.

Impressed with Severino going seven after the rough 1st inning, that included a phantom HBP and a Y.S. special. Didn't completely unravel like Pineda's been doing recently.

Huge day for Red Thunder. Today was my first time at the new stadium and while the first half was meh, the 2nd half didn't disappoint. Even Betances and Chapman looked sharp. Hopefully Tanaka can close off this 1st half on a good note as they regroup over the ASB.

Yankees inquired about Brad Hand, Padres reliever who is an All Star.

He has arbitration rights next year.

Don't blame em tbh. We got Gleybor for an elite LH reliever as well...

Comparing Chapman to Hand is ridiculous. The Yankees were also able to leverage the Cubs desperation to win (+ other competitors for Chapman) and unearthed a stud who is more valuable today than he was a year ago.

I bet they get a pretty nice package for Hand though. Relievers are always overpriced at this time of the year and I hope the Yankees stay away. If they're going to move prospects for another piece, it better be a guy under team control for a few seasons who isn't a reliever.

We were just discussing Dom Smith's power and then he goes and hits four homers in like a week.

I've still see many scouts concerned about both him and Rosario at the ML level saying their BB vs K ratio simply is not good enough for them to be legit ML hitters. Rosario has been highly hyped but there has certainly been a share of scouts who are still unsure if he's a legit 280-290 plus ML hitter.

I've not seen anyone say that about Rosario. He's top 10 on every list out there, top 5 on most, 1 on some. His strikeout numbers are not even high. He doesn't walk, but thats not really such a big deal, he's also pretty young. He's hitting like .325 counting the last two seasons. Not sure thats a problem.

I think the Smith concerns are opposite anything doing with BB's/K's. He's a 1B with fringy power, and his weight is kind of a problem. I know he's hit a few more HR's recently, but unless he can show he's a 20 HR in the ML type of player, I don't know if he'll be any more than average. Kind of hard to be more than an regular at 1B without plus power.
