literal AA playerAbout time Judge got some hits. Felt like he was slacking at .396
You want him in the playoff roster but he has absolutely no case over anyone on the roster right now.Absolutely wild that NYY have Rice and Goldschmidt raking. Cashman’s 1B is usually reserved for a slow fat washed guy. Where does Stanton go?
dude has 63 hits in MayThey should just rename the M.V.P award the Aaron Judge Award. Its getting beyond ridiculous with this guy
If only Rice could play 3rdYou want him in the playoff roster but he has absolutely no case over anyone on the roster right now.
Rice has more WAR so far this season than Stanton's last three seasons combined.
If only Stanton could play 3rd when he's hurt, on IL, and sitting on the bench. If only Rice could play 3rd
So it's as if he's Giancarlo Kreider.Stanton should go into the dugout.
We can't let his hot playoff run distract from the fact that he hasn't cracked a 1 WAR or a .300 OBP in years.
And even then, he's particularly useless off the bench because he isn't a good pinch hitter, and can't run or field at all.
Sorry, I'm not happy about him coming back. Simple as that. We're going to end up sitting guys that are hitting well to insert barely an MLB player, who has the versatility of a broken screwdriver.
There's no iteration of the Rangers during Kreider's lifetime that I wouldn't insert Kreider into.So it's as if he's Giancarlo Kreider.
The only real argument besides his playoffs is that he's RH and we're overloaded on LHs but even then, Stantons splits against LH aren't that much better over his career, especially in the last three years, where he's actually better against RH pitchers.Stanton should go into the dugout.

Maybe against lefty starters? Idk Rice seems legit and idk what more he could even do to stay in the lineupThere's no iteration of the Rangers during Kreider's lifetime that I wouldn't insert Kreider into.
This is like having a 4th liner who's pseudo-obligated to play in the top 9 because of his salary, but now your whole top 9 is really good, and also the player wouldn't be a good 4th liner.
@Machinehead Great post. Way to bring the facts and well thought out opinions.Stanton should go into the dugout.

There's nothing more he can do at this point. If they sit Rice down to put Stanton in, it's because of vibes and salary.Maybe against lefty starters? Idk Rice seems legit and idk what more he could even do to stay in the lineup
I don't have any well thought out opinions.@Machinehead Great post. Way to bring the facts and well thought out opinions.
@Machinehead OMG! That's such a funny, well-written sentence it's sig worthy. idk if you can see my sig, but I gave you credit.... I'm filled with hate and exhaustion, and the Yankees and Rangers fuel it like two Victorian peasants shoveling coal into the furnace.

Stanton’s always been a team first guy, maybe this will be the first time it’s truly tested. I would understand frustration on his part after basically backpacking the team to the WS. But the correct decision is prioritizing him the least right nowThere's nothing more he can do at this point. If they sit Rice down to put Stanton in, it's because of vibes and salary.
