the Yankees are in a bad spot offensively and defensively. they need like 3 two way players especially with Fried being a soft contact hitter. we really, really needed someone like Tucker and i'd have happily given up Gil for him even as a rental.

Imagine the shoes were reversed. You wouldn't trade Tucker to the Astros barring a stupid offer.

Maybe they would or wouldn't include Gil but i know the Astros rightfully would send him to the Cubs/NL over the Yankees unless their offer was significantly better in their eye.

I don't know what her position is but I actually would feel annoyed by that.
She's in digital market research. Each company has a comp philosophy. From what she told me Netflix's philosophy is that they pay you a lot of money so you can pay for your own perks. They do pay at the top range for most roles it seems. I think she shares my account.

Oh I have the worst one.

I had to pay full tuition to earn an MA at the school I was teaching at.
That is bad. You win. :D

I wonder if the Soto situation really did spook the Yankees into walking away from another rental. I’d imagine Tucker is going to want to cash in next winter too.

These are also the situations where I feel nervous about Cashman and his ability to put together a ball club. I think this offseason requires some creativity, and I just don’t trust him with that.

yeah besides Walker which to me is an obvious fit, there's not a single good option out there for another infielder

Nico Hoerner? Who the f*** knows what the Cubs are doing?

Vlad JR? LOL

We absolutely cannot walk into this season with a bunch of kids. Cole and Judge have like 2 years of prime left. Really tough spot.
