The Yankees pitching is in a world of hurt right now. Their Starters are a joke. Their lights out bullpen is not shutting the door. Same sorta theme too. Dancing around the strike zone trying to be too perfect and constantly missing, getting into trouble, walking batters, throwing a ton of pitches.

This team is in trouble. Applaud Cashman all you want. DJ great. Digging up Voit and Urshela great. But the SP was not seriously addressed. I gave him a pass because the market wasnt too friendly this offseason. Paxton was really the only option that was viable but even with him there were question marks. Happ is older, but was really the only move. He brings back CC who just flat out has nothing left. Again somewhat of a pass because there wasnt much else out there.

But then Keuchel is sitting there and he gets outbid by $1.5 million. $1.5 MILLION. WTF is that about. This is not the time to penny pinch. This team is ready to make the push for the World Series. Its absolutely asinine. And you know what I somewhat gave him a pass because who knows how the discussions went with Cleveland for Kluber. Would Andujar gotten it done? And then we could have still opened up the wallets and signed Machado for 3B. Just because we have lucked out with Urshela doesnt mean it was smart management.

If he prospect hugs and doesnt get the right guys in the next 6 weeks Cashman’s ass should be kicked out the door.

Cashman really seems to be unwilling to make bold moves. The Red Sox traded the number one prospect in baseball to get Sale and won a title. The Astros traded for Verlander while we settled for Sonny Gray. We all saw how that turned out.

Is there anyone here who still thinks bringing back CC was a good move?
Said it last night.

This team is in severe trouble. Cant even blame Boone. This starting rotation is a f***ing joke. We are lucky we got by this long. We also had a fairly easy schedule....although these are the Chicago White Sox..

Ya, overall I still think he isn't a bad 5th-6th starter. He is just off form at the moment.

Blame the management team that aren't acquiring better starters when they are there for the taking.

RIP Clint Frazier

Probably packaged for a starter. Wonder if they could get someone like Matthew Boyd via trade.

Yeah but Morales didn't really do anything since we started getting guys back.

Encarnacion is too good to be insurance. More dominoes have to be moving.
He will be d.h and Voits backup. He will get his at bats.More trades are coming im sure.
