OT: MLB Discussion Thread Part XXVII: M*A*S*H Edition

They're 6 games out. With 2 teams ahead of them in the East. It's hard to aim for 3-4 road trips down that much.

It's not over by any means. But they need to go on a run that keeps them well above .500. This ain't cutting it.

2.5 games back of 2nd wildcard spot. Once you are in anything can happen.

Worst part is they got to Buehler last night and now they have the ERA leader to face. All RH lineup sans Conforto coming again. Vargas pitching also gives me little hope they'll win today. Need to win 3 of the next 4. Splitting the end of this trip is going to be unacceptable after the loss last night. If they won last night, I'd have taken a split of the last 4.

Have to beat up on the Giants at home. Sweep needed. That team is awful. 5-1 against them and Colorado needs to happen.

Makeup date is Aug 3rd. You never know how things play out but could definitely be a blessing in disguise as the pen has been over-taxed lately and they would have had to do a bullpen game this wkend. Now they don't.
