They said he fell off of something and into a hole? And I'm only reading right ankle fracture.

Hopefully they can void his contract. LOL. What a joke they are.
 
I read that his contract is mostly insured, so the Mets should be fine financially.
It is, the insurance was paying out most of his contract for the heel stuff. But it doesn't cover all of it, and while the Mets aren't cheap per se, they definitely look to save a buck when they can. I wouldn't be surprised for them to try to void his contract if he wasn't supposed to be doing intense physical activity, which it sounds like he would.

Gio Gonzalez, a better pitcher who has been underrated and underpaid his whole career couldn't get a major league contract while Happ makes 17m. No justice.
 
I'm glad I've been immersed in playoff hockey at the expense of watching the disaster known as the Mets. That Cespedes news is peak Mets.
