Sucks time wise it didn't work out, and they didn't need Gio at the time. The starting pitching depth is rough right now.

Hopefully get Paxton back soon.

I don't believe Andujar was ever ready/healed. He was awful when he returned, and not just in the field like he usually is.

He looked terrible and like he needed way more time to get minor league at bats. The way this sounds, we might not see him until very late in the year, if not at all.

Pretty sure this is all connected to the knee. You can pretty easy F up other parts of the legs if something else isn’t right and you’re trying to force your way through it. Remember Cespedes eventually admitted many of his lower body injury issues from 2016-2018 were connected to him favoring his legs or compensating for the calcification issues he ultimately needed surgery for. Lowrie’s AAA numbers would suggest he wasn’t feeling 100%.

Nice to see Ramos hitting. His defense sure has disappointed to date. If he's going to be a question mark behind the plate he needs to hit.
Kind of a similar thing going on with Rosario. Defense has been surprisingly disappointing, but he's hitting better than I hoped he would.
