Tough when it’s missing Andujar, Stanton, Hicks and Sanchez. I’m not counting Didi, they had since last October to find a replacement for him, and chose a guy who is always hurt.

I understand the injuries and I'm not even upset about their record.

I'm upset that it's the same old shit. We fired Girardi to get away from the same old shit and hired Girardi on speed.

Vargas is garbage. I was hopeful his second half last year was a good sign for this year. Not at all.

Time to go get Keuchel.

All he had to do was eat up innings and pitch to a 4.50 ERA or better to keep his job but instead we get a guy knocked out in the first inning who has a 14-something ERA this year.

Now there pushing Vargas' next start back one day like that's going to do anything?

I agree get Keuchel before someone else does.

Atlanta is very good. They have tons of pitching.
I'm slowly getting back into baseball, so I'm not tuned in but yeah that's what I'm learning. I remember those years they had that starting rotation under Cox.

Can't believe Boston split their series against Baltimore. Expected Boston to go 112-0 against them ..... this season. Yankees suck.

Yanks started off 9-9 last season before winning 17 of their next 18 games. They managed to win 100 games. I remember all the doom and gloom here at the time. Meanwhile the Mets started off 11-1 and eventually imploded in June.

Half of last year’s roster wasn’t on the injured list though.

Both years Yankee fans called the AL East by mid April tho. It’s over. Done.

Nice to see Lagares contributing. Hard to remember he was a really nice player before all the injuries started.

Alright, Mets fans, J.D. Davis is available in my fantasy league. Is he a flash in the pan or is his early production legit? How will his PT change when Frazier/Lowrie return?

His playing time will probably get shit on a lot when Lowrie returns, him and Frazier will be bench bats. I personally believe in his ability to produce (although not a .900+ OPS) because I too am a Statcast occultist but he probably wont be worthwhile in fantasy unless he can somehow take a starting job from someone, which I doubt he'll be able to do unless McNeil or an OF gets injured (if Alonso gets injured Smith will probably get that job, Davis can't play other positions). Mets have a f***ton of depth to go around and multiple other players are better and have better positional versatility, its rough for him.
