My 2 cents on Boone: Boonie just doesn't have that IDGAF impression that the best managers concoct. Corra with his sarcastic GFY smile fits the bill. Torre truly looking like he'd rather be in bed than managing, while very different from Cora, both convey the same thing to the opponents of I don't care what you do we're still gonna kick your ass and not care about it because we've already moved on to the next opponent to clobber.

Boone looks like he cares and for some reason comes off as weak while doing so, even when he gets animated or whatever. Maybe its charisma? Not sure. But Beltran's got it in spades....

Or just being realistic. This is a smokescreen. Until this team is more consistent than just 2 games i am not getting excited or enjoying anything. Still have zero faith in this coaching staff. And the fact that moron Boone is letting them celebrate in the clubhouse with strobe lights and fog machine makes me have even less confidence in this group. By no means should that be happening. Its foolish. They have been god awful this season in all facets of the game. But should I expect anything different? Boone has zero clue as to what it takes to be a manager. He is just a figurehead.

They beat the absolute shitty Boston team and more specifically their bullpen tonight. Act like a f***ing pro and realize there is still a lot of work to do. No f***ing turning the clubhouse into the nightclub. Go 15 games above .500 and lead your division before you start that BS.
