Can't say Boston didn't deserve it. They destroyed every team (regular + playoff) except players weekend vs. Cleveland. Not the greatest on paper, but surely the greatest in terms of results ths decade.

To be fair, the 2001 M's and 1998 Yankees didn't light it up on paper either, but all three teams had depth and versatility.

We played them the best tbh.

Which says more about how next-level the Sox were than it does about the Yankees but I digress.
They destroyed us 16-1 at home which intimidated the WS Champs from the year before like it was a walk in the park.

16-1!

What other team would be capable of that? They were a truly special team this year.

The Yankees rarely got hammered this year, to their credit.

We've got work to do to catch up to them.

But they had work to do to catch up to Houston so it's possible.

Like anyone didn't expect that happen. It's almost as if it would have been surpising otherwise

I still love Judge.... Only player that consistently delivered

We had two rookies this season, Sanchez at half his potential and mediocre starting pitching and still did pretty well all things considered. I wouldn't be too comfortable if I was the Sox.
