One stinking point gained since Marner went down. 0-4-1

They are pretty bad looking without Magic in the lineup.
oh well,,,,,,,, IF it works like that

look at our entire record since Nylander signed/joined the roster from last year to now

The only 2 guys creating the past couple of games are Spezza and Kappy. Marner is the most important player on this team ( other than Freddy). The PP runs through Mitch, he plays in every situation, and he is the engine of this team.

He’s a very special player.
It is why we need Bracco up asap. He will create on PP1 too maybe even better than Mitch.

Marner plays in all situations. He excels in all situations. Leafs are about to go on a big slide without #93. Other than JT, Mitch is the most complete player on the team. It is not close.

Matthews is lethal and it takes only one shot for him to impact the game, but Mitch does it for 200 feet, in all situations. People like to rip on Marner, but he is the engine of this club.

We shall see. So far tavares and marner have been MIA all season. Matthews and nylander have been picking up the slack.

I can also see us going on a run here not because marner drags the team down cause he doesnt. But because I think matthews and nylander and andersen will carry them for a bit.

I can also see tavares doing well without mitch as he will adjust to being a playmaker rather than shooter.

There should be little doubt as to what Marners value is to this team at this point. These quotes are from 1 week ago.

As faltorvo said above, it’s more complicated.

The leafs were winning 2 out of 3 games all October/November last year, without Nylander. He joins the lineup Dec 1st, and the leafs have been well brow .500 since. It’s not just wins either. The compete level looks like an entirely different team since Nylander returned.

Is that all on Nylander? He’s so bad that adding him to the lineup made the team significantly worse in every capacity? Or is it clearly more complicated than that?

I absolutely believe that Nylander is a cancer and is a main culprit as to why this team is where they are. His soft, lazy play and diva like attitude is cancerous. All he can to is pad his stats against bad teams, but when push comes to shove and we face real teams, he folds because he is a fraud. Especially when he got that contract and he did absolutely nothing to warrant it. It's not good.

Without Marner there is no one to spark the team, and make the big play. He makes plays at all 200 feet of the ice, unlike Matthews and ESPECIALLY Nylander.

Weird time to be counting GA/GF to show we need/don’t need a player when we’re clearly on the verge of a coaching change and the team as a whole has just packed er in.

this team is not the same without him. He was ridiculously good last season I don't think his 94pts really capture how dominant he was shift after shift of virtually every game. That was an mvp type of year and if he gets back to that form I think the Leafs might still salvage this season.

This is my first post on the matter and that’s my opinion. I’m not continuing to do anything. Thanks.

I’m not saying we don’t need him, I’m just saying it’s a silly time to post those stats imo.

Marner might be the one to tip one or two max, of these games without him to a win. He is not the sole reason for not winning or the teams effort as awhole. And Nylander is not the reason for us loosing. For an idiot this migth sound outrageous, but thats an idiots job, coming up with stupid conclusions.

Is he missed , hell yeah. We need the full lines the rest of the season.

Nope.

We found out who it was, and he's gone now.
