Yeah, I really don't care what Marner does in the Easy, peasy low contact reg. season when he is after a big contract. They all have their best year right before payday.
 that whole "best year" for before the payday is lazy analysis. Many examples of that not being the case. And "easy peasy" regular season. So all that banging around/injuries/82 game grind ain't no thang eh? Just tune in come April and spare everyone your nonsense. For a guy with Sittler as part of his nic - I'd expect a little more perspective and wisdom

He’s always played with Matthews or Tavares, which one of them moves to the wing so he can go to the middle?

Did you miss this part?
At what point of an emergency would they try it?

Right now they have 1 top 2 center.
Domi isn't a top center, and apparently isn't even 100%, but is playing anyway.

Just seems weird that someone they could play in all situations including penalty killing, someone touted to be 2nd. best forward on the team would refuse to give it a go?
Refused?
Why do we need to constantly make things up to in hopes of making the player look bad?

Perhaps you misread, or are just making it up?

"would refuse" <> "refused"

Yup only the playoffs matter to me now. Way tougher than reg season. That is my wisdom because it's true. What do we care if he gets 120 pts and we lose first round..again?

The biggest difference on all those year between both is 0,05 pts/60 ( basically 1 pts difference in a 82 game season) ... Considerating Marner played much more defensive situation than Matthews at 5v5...They basically scored at the same rate in last 6, last 5 or last 4... So No 2019 season doesn't changw absolutly anything statistically. If you had 2019, its the lowest number both had...

2- 2019-2020 is keefe 1st year and when Matthews and marner started to play together and he played the entire season with one of marner or nylander on his line. So trying to talk about time matthews played with marleau and whatever and marner with JT as answer when the year you talking about is just out of 6 years range, that's pretty hilarious.
i dont think anyone can argue that marner isnt great in the regular season... playoffs though? underwhelming... thats the whole crux of the situation.

that said, marner can console the criticism with a deep stanley cup run... (hopefully that happens)

edit: "console the criticism"... is that even a saying or is @NinjaKick just making shit up again? also why is he talking in thrid person.. this doesnt even make sense

If we win tonight I will be happy. If we lose I will probably be a little sour. If you read the post game thread you will more than likely either see positive or negative comments depending on the outcome. If Mitch gets 120 points there should be more upbeat nights than down over the coarse of a 7 month season. That seems to be the main reason to care.

Thats fine if you "don't care" but your presence here and now in November says that you do care, so either be honest and stop with the tired refrain or stand by your bold proclimations and simply vamoose until April. You shouldnt even watch until then. But guys like you are liars, you're the ones crying the loudest when the leafs shit the bed like they did against ottawa. Then all of a sudden the regular season games mean something when you got something to complain about.
