Imagine he was there with Rantanen.

Laine - Aho - Puljujärvi
Saarela - Nättinen - Kapanen
Kalapudas - Hintz - Rantanen
Björkqvist - Siikonen - Lammikko
It's a crime we don't get to witness best on best hockey with this generation. USA and Finland would be the biggest challengers to Canada right now.

On a good team like the Leafs or the Oilers he‘d be a 4th line centre.
Wow what a stupid thing to say. He is big, he is very fast, he plays defence. He is pretty much ppg in last 3 regular seasons and has been the best player in playoffs this spring. Mcdavid is better than him and Drai if he plays center. Hintz destroys Tavares and is pretty damn close to Matthews if you think benefit of the team.

He'd likely be the 3rd best forward on either team after McDavid/Drai and Matthews/Marner

190 pts in his last 194 games (past 3 seasons), and actually plays defense. It's just that no one watches Dallas.

The community were disillusioned with McDrai and they think everyone was ass besides this two (including Crosby and Ovechkin) even though the problem is obvious everyone can see on those one dimensional Oilers team.

95% community here is Oilers sympathizer. Dallas has been known as one of the best defensive-first team besides the Kings during McDrai era and has more success than Oilers team in McDrai era. Lindell-Heiskanen are actually more terrifying duo compare to McD-Drai and Oilers will only dream to got that pair due to their hell capspace and roster building.

What? Heiskanen usually plays with Suter. Lindell is an okay 2nd pair defenseman. "Terrifying duo", good grief.

Gosh... I knew pair means plays together but in this case they're not specifically play together.

On defense yes, Dallas possibly one of best alongside Kings and Islanders (few years ago). Remember, second year Miro in the playoffs they went to SCF. That is not something to be look down for when the so called best players best record only got swept by Avs in their 7th season altogether.

Fair enough. Dallas does have a very good team defense, and that's obviously important in the playoffs, and I'm a big fan of Miro.

I guess it's just I wouldn't compare the top 2 F to the top 2 D to begin with, and Lindell as a D is a very far cry from Draisaitl as a F, and (thirdly) Heiskanen is certainly in the top group of young D but not a phenom like McDavid. I mean, when you go from team culture and roster balance stuff to individual player stuff.

Slightly off-topic but Kakko (in WC now) is sort of the opposite of Hintz. The former is again developing an office in the corner of the rink, away from the net and scoring lanes, and that should be alarming to anyone not named Isles or Devils. And if only Aho could finish from his breakaways like Hintz does, instead of the silly five-hole attempts. Maybe there are better comparables than Kakko or Aho. Barkov is doing fine after some understandable copium with world events and stuff.
