This guy is definitely not a player to come out of nowhere (Ala Kontos or Druce). At least 37 goals and 80 points in the past two regular seasons.

If he improves I can see him being a top 10 C (At least) in the league.

What is your view on Hintz? Already before the playoffs he was a legit 1st line center but what he is showing during these playoffs is incredible.

Do you guys think he is just on a hot stretch or do you believe he can sustain this elite level for several years and become a top 15 nhl player?

Hot stretch. I could also see him continuing being hot in playoff scenarios but remains a 70-80pt guy during the regular season.

He's a really good player. Not a superstar by any means but definitely a star, top 20 center in the NHL. I didn't think he would get to this level in his career, thought he was a 4th line center.

On a good team like the Leafs or the Oilers he‘d be a 4th line centre.
Yes, and paid minimum salary to fit under the cap. Also play 12 min per game to allow their stars to play 22 min per game. Then take a collective blame together with other third and fourth liners for not having enough depth.

He'd likely be the 3rd best forward on either team after McDavid/Drai and Matthews/Marner

190 pts in his last 194 games (past 3 seasons), and actually plays defense. It's just that no one watches Dallas.

edit: Woof, I missed the sarcasm. I think my faith in this site is too low.
