If he's really looking for a ton of money wouldn't Philly be better than Toronto because of taxes?

The Canadian tax thing is overblown. Below is a quick pull from this article. Toronto & Philly aren't much different in the top tax bracket (which would include federal, state/provincial, municipal taxes).

38.3% - Edmonton Oilers
40.0% - Florida Panthers
40.1% - Tampa Bay Lightning

My favourite team since I was born. 2010 my **** was like a ****ing totem pole! So ****ing close... Hopefully Hextall has the patience to make this team great.

Perrault in WPG has 4, 1 more a fan wins 1 million dollars. :amazed:

And if Jets trade Buff, his value is through the roof right now.

Can anyone find a good reason why Mike Yeo isn't fired? I didn't think he was that great of a hire to begin with, but he had them playing pretty good. They're about a week away from being a lost cause.

Bad goaltending can be covered up with good defensive play. Heck, teams have won recent championships with barely decent goaltending. Minnesota is supposed to be a pretty good defensive team. They sure aren't playing like it.

Minnesota have the 5th fewest shots against per game. It really is all on their goaltending.

Sometimes goaltending is so horrible it can't be helped. Like when Bryz was allowing unscreened wristers from the blueline, no defense can fix that short of allowing zero shots.

Goaltending's the biggest issue but they seemingly don't have anything positive going for them anywhere right now. The defense & offense hasn't been too hot either.

Suter's apparently been pretty bad for his standards this year. The speculation is that his usage since arriving in Minnesota is starting to get to him (his father also passed away which could possibly be another reason as well). He currently leads the league in ice time with basically 30 minutes a night while he played basically 30 minutes last year & 27 minutes the year before.

They were talking during the game tonight about how Clayton Stoner said he didn't like playing there behind Suter because they played him so much & it was hard for other defenders to get into a good rhythm because Suter plays so much & it cuts down everybody else's minutes.

Suter's played 188 games regular & post season with the Wild. He's averaging 29:25 minutes a night in those games.

I'm seeing Pens fans say that their doctors screwed up Maatta's shoulder surgery last summer, and now they're operating on it again.
