Laviolette is a great freaking coach btw. Just throwing that out there. Nashville was in lottery contention last year with a supposed great head coach in Barry Trotz, now they are a win behind ANH to lead the entire NHL.

They missed the playoffs by three points last year. The team was different as well as they didn't have Forsberg, Ribero, & most importantly Rinne last year they also got Ekbolm who's an upgrade on some of their other defenders not named Weber, Josi, & Jones from last year. Lavi's not a bad coach & good coach for their team but it's not like he brought them back from the dead. I would argue getting Rinne back is the biggest difference on the team.

I actually like the guy. I think he's knowledgeable but he's so damn unintentional funny & fun to poke fun at.

My two favorite things he does during games is when he goes nuts when there's a potential too many men call & when he just asks Eddie O questions that seem to annoy him.

This looks like something they would have tried in the '90s!

That said, most of the all star jerseys are absolutely awful. I would take these over some of the other ones I've seen.
