Isles lost to Senators. ROFL. :D

It would be nice if they miss playoffs and Sens have 3 lottery picks and drafted from 4th place with Isles 1st round, LOL.

Yamamoto just scored, the ref neither waves off nor signals goal despite this (incompetence). Play continues. Oilers have 6 guys out there. Whistle blows because of the penalty, they review the goal, and announce the goal. Reset the play clock to that time.

And call the penalty.

So the penalty happens during a time of the game which didn't exist yet according to the scoresheet. NHL.

They're in the clear mostly after next season.

Yeah but it’s basically squeezing them now though. Kreider is getting a pay bump. DeAngelo will be getting a sizeable pay bump. Even Strome is up for a new deal coming off a career year thanks to Panarin.

They don’t really have a whole lot of depth as is but they’re having to move guys out to free up space as nobody wants Lundqvist, Staal, or Smith.

They have $7.5MM against the cap in buyout money next season as well

Oo, WSH @ PIT on Saturday. Just not three-point game, please. If we beat Sabres, it will be next step for us for home-ice advantage!

after the Sabres game, we have a stretch that will really put us to the test. I think that stretch makes or breaks us. Boston, Lightning, Minny Edmonton back to back, STL, Dallas, and Nashville. 7 games against playoff teams ( i am counting Nashville as a playoff team since they have the same amount of points as Vancouver)

Either outcome is a win in some way, as being 5 clear of PIT would be fantastic, but now there's a real chance to play CBJ/NYI. That changes everything and I'm solidly hoping for a PIT win.

The Flyers are going to cool off a little too, and that's ok. We shouldn't panic. They're good and their backup Goaltending hopefully doesn't matter in a little over a month.

Rangers 2 points out of the playoffs. I do not want them in the playoffs.
Carolina, Columbus and the Islanders have been so bad lately, the Rangers may actually make it.
Even Florida still has a shot and that team hasn't been able to string 3 consecutive wins together for over a month.

Whoever secures those two Wild Card spots in the end, I doubt they'll make it past the first round.
