They've pretty handily outplayed Florida the whole time. And their own goaltending has actually been good. Bob is the only reason the series is where it is.
He's not the only reason. You still need to score goals.

When you're down 3-0 in a series mentality becomes a factor too. You need to have the absolute believe to turn it around. Then you need to make the opponent believe that too. The Panthers are flying now. Everything's going their way. They have no pressure at all.

I wasn't talking to you

Ah yeah, he is the only reason the limited number of goals they've been able to score has been sufficient. He's been an outlier.

This has been a low scoring series, but i'd say the Panthers have more offensive fire power than the Hurricanes. Verhaeghe has been clutch and Tkachuk is the 2nd best scorer of all the players left in the playoffs.

That's two players. On a team vs team level Carolina has outperformed them. Bob has cancelled it out.

There's also Reinhart with 7 goals. Montour has 6 goals too. Then there's Bennett and Barkov with 4 goals.
Bob has made the difference so far, but it's not like the Panthers couldn't outscore the Hurricanes if they had to.

They have scored an average of 2 goals per game in this series. This isn't theoretical. That is what the guys you're talking about have done. They've been held in check just fine. Bob has been putting on a Hasek/Parent level performance.

I have no idea why you are including performances against Boston and Toronto while discussing what is happening against CAR.

Because it shows what the team can do in the playoffs. Boston and Toronto are pretty good teams too, just as good as Carolina or even better.
I just don't believe Carolina can just dominate every game of the series especially facing elimination in every game from now on.

When discussing what a team is doing in the Carolina series I'm more concerned about what they are doing against Carolina. They've outplayed Florida and they have gotten solid goaltending, limited Florida to 2 goals per game. If Bob collapses, they just have to keep doing what they have been doing already. You talk about Florida's firepower but you forget about Carolina's. Right now, Florida's firepower is Bob.

Andersen can collapse too. It only takes one bad game from him and the series is over.

Sure. He can. Never denied that. This all started when I asserted that Carolina has been outplaying Florida and there is potential for them to come back if Bob's bubble bursts. That remains true. Hence the series remains interesting to me.

I mean, this would've been a completely different series if Jarvis doesn't hit the bar in OT in Game 1. But they couldn't bury their chances and now I think it's too late.

To me it will be more interesting to see the Panthers against Vegas. Vegas plays a different game, they don't shoot from everywhere like Carolina.

Florida was a stellar play-driving team in the regular season. And even the Bruins series they were pretty even. I don’t know where that team went the last 2 series.

If Bob keeps it up, I think whoever wins this series wins the Cup. We shall see

Florida really isn't playing that well, xGF% (5x5 SVA) in the playoffs.
They're being carried by two forwards, Verhaeghe and Tkachuk.
But if Bob wasn't possessed by a demon . . .

Verhaeghe 18:02 50.91% 2.66 pp/60
Tkachuk 17:38 58.18% 2.49
Bennett 17:04 53.83% 1.51

Barkov 15:43 43.96% 1.53
Reinhart 15:30 48.88% 0.77
Duclair 15:26 40.45% 1.94

Lundell 14:51 48.95% 1.35
Cousins 14:34 50.48% 1.65
Luostarinen 14:34 50.39% 0.82

Staal 8:47 34.21% 0.45
White 7:32 38.90% 0.53

Montour 22:53 47.38% 0.52
Forsling 22:22 45.94% 0.18
Ekblad 20:01 46.05% 0.64
Staal 19:39 42.80% 0.00
Gudas 15:34 47.12% 0.51
Mahura 12:15 59.94% 0.65

Just start the handshake now and we can be out of here in a tight 15
