It just seems like there's no consistency with that call. Plenty of times in the past when the puck has been loose and it gets knocked in, they call it no goal because the ref was getting ready to blow the whistle.I think the puck was actually in the net before the ref was ready to blow the whistle.
For the good of the game, that should be a goal 100% of the time. The puck was visible from the front of the net, so we shouldn't have to rely on the guy behind the net losing sight of the puck.
