I hope Toronto wins a round just to shut up the segment of Flyers fans that use the lack of Matthews and McDavid playoff success as ammunition against tanking.

Think Fletcher even talked to them? Or think he was sulking over being ripped off for TDA.

Must have been on the other line. After all he did make a whopping 17 phone calls.

I'd say he was using his dial-up to download music, but we all know the only music he listens to is a smooth jazz compilation he bought on cassette from an informercial in 1991. Three easy payments of $9.95! Plus S&H!

He used his dad Cliff Fletcher's credit card to order it. It was the only rebellious thing he's ever done in his life. His dad was busy covering up sexual abuse so it was the perfect time to take advantage.

Rotary phone too.

I hope Calgary can sneak in to the last Western playoff spot.

Actually, it would be great if they could finish 7th and Nashville finish 8th.

@GKJ

I was unaware Mike's son Lane is a big hockey fan (re-Tweets a few hockey references). He's a really good kid. If you make it to Monmouth this summer where he is moving his tack, he is very approachable.

I’m too young to have Mike’s kid be a jockey

Mike Luzzi, Garrett Gomez and Joe Bravo all began the same year.... 35 years ago. One has a son, one is deceased (I would put GG in the top five riders I have seen....when he was on) and the other is riding in Cali.
