Could you imagine all the stuff someone like Lindros could truly tell us about this organization? The only reason why the fan base hated him was because Clarke was quick to go to the papers and talk to the media to give his side of everything and put all the blame on him. Lindros has never really said anything negative since it all went down and has obviously even buried the hatched.

Even Richards and Carter
id love to hear Voraceks opinions..

G is the poster child for why you should expect top offensive players to play decent defense - because they CAN and still score. The idea if a player is good offensively they should get a pass on defense is a loser's mentality. Karlsson is a good example.

Great defense is skill and instincts, decent defense is primarily effort.
Losers pad their stats, winners do what they need to help their team win.

The shame for G is if Holmgren had started the rebuild in 2012, and built the team around G and Couts, he could have spent his career as a Flyer and had a shot at the Cup. Instead, by the time Hextall started in 2014, two years and asset value had been wasted, and he only had two playoff runs in his peak seasons.

Weird how you ignore the most wasteful and useless GM of them all. You know, the one who is actually the reason Giroux isn't a Flyer now. Hint: it's not Holmgren.
