Sometimes I just like to type it out for the fun of it. Comical.

Racist < Ghost
Risto < Hagg

They surrendered all of those assets to downgrade both defensemen. Then there are the extensions lol
Don't forget Voracek for one more year of term in Betterfitkinson.

And also traded for mortally wounded goods because he didn't do enough homework

Ghost is the same player in Arizona that he was here, and the league knew what he was.
A 3rd pair D-man, PP specialist.
He pads his scoring stats due to usage and an aggressive style (similar to Chicago under Colliton), but the whole defense leaks HDCA.

No one wanted his 2yr/$9M with the cap flat under COVID and too many competing teams stuck with pre-COVID contracts.

Should we have just kept him (well, you had to fire AV), sure, but he wouldn't have made a rats ass of difference. He hasn't in Zona.

Yeah but it's fine because they got that one possibly late 1st back years down the road.

Shit, you should’ve seen most people on this board telling a few of us we were crazy when we called out Fletcher for being horrible back in 2019.

Be careful, I've been called an elitist snob (paraphrasing) for pointing out that fact ad nauseum.

Handful of posters pointing it out from the get-go and everyone else was hum on the matter or busy pulling a hypocritical 360 on Hextall whilst being hopeful Chuck Fletcher and people still in place in our front office, of all people, could take the reigns. I've called out people being quoted on the same page of this post as being transparently hypocritical by repeatedly being late to the party in terms of endorsing failure until it is way too late and then turning around on it.

People can be wrong. People can view things in hindsight. There's a real pattern on this board of people who like to support what have been, ultimately, superficial GM changes until the damage is done and it's way too late and then act entitled to be enraged at it all. I don't think those people see the irony there.

That's still way better than the average fan though who goes to the game to get drunk and bang on the glass or blame players like Ghost and Giroux on Facebook.

As opposed to us cultured forum posters who get drunk at the game to yell at ristolainen and Cevin for being bums.

Not saying anybody, including me, is cultured or superior. I don't invade anybody's personal space (physically, visually, or auditory), make it my goal to annoy people in public, or be a hypocrite with my opinions though.

Initially. But one offseason of awful mistakes won them over and he had their heart for the season.

“At least he actually tries, unlike Hextall”
That 2019 offseason sure was something. I think it was more 50/50, but a few of the deluded were incredibly obnoxious and it turns out completely wrong, as they've now realized.

You know who "actually tried" and meant well too?

Kyrou with 13 points in his last 8 games. He's been on fire after a slow start. I've already seen a thread on the main boards calling him overpaid or whatever.

I’m sure it was way more than 50%. So many argued when I said Fletcher/AV were incompetent and worse than Hextall/Hakstol, said they were sabotaging the team, and mentioned the horrible decisions and usage.

Not gonna name names, but I definitely remember.

I feel like the bulk of the hive saw through it, so maybe I just don’t pay much attention to randos. Regardless, I remember, too. We both know the names of the worst offenders, and I’m not talking about the usual suspects.
