Im all for starting the trend of telling players "No, Play or sit out" if they ask for a trade to the flavor of the year. Should have started that with Cutter.

Especially with high draft picks from college who want to get to the NHL ASAP, tell them they can sign with you or they can wait for free agency. There was no world where Gauthier was going to wait until this summer just to try free agency. If he is still adamant about being traded at least you can do so with him under contract and you can get more value out of him.

The Flyers used to be like Vegas and Florida in that they'd identify a player they wanted and made the move happen.

Ed Snider wouldn't stand for this long running "also ran" class they're currently in.

I didn't want Brady in Philly, but I wish the Flyers would have the mindset to go after the big fish again.

Nothing screams Flyers like Robertson and Tkachuk being swapped, and they want to see if they can get in on Pinto to help facilitate things.

Ottawa should send those picks to Dallas for Jason Robertson. That would be an upgrade.

Sounds like they are going to try and trade for him and if not then offer sheet.
