I miss deadhead saying the 2nd rounder — sort of almost a 1st maybe possibly — was the real asset Briere wanted. Drysdale was a throw-in.

Also, McGroarty had more value than Gauthier.

I know I’m more harsh on term than most, but I don’t just apply it to the Flyers.

I haven't done the math to see if we can get through all of The Inferno before his contract ends, but it's going to be really close if we do since we never make the playoffs. I get mad when I miss GDTs.

They're going to trade their latest first for the rights to Ekblad and Bennett, and then point to Holmgren doing it for Timonen and Hartnell turning the Flyers around back then.

One of my personal faves was when Chuck still had 72hrs 2 days before the deadline. Time manipulation is a tough sell, but it's no match for the Deady algorithm.
