News from Around the AHL NHL KHL 2024 25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Sure, Ek, you had no idea what you were taking, for an injury.

Would love to know what he was taking for injuries. My doc only prescribes physical therapy. Pffft. Go screw.

They may want to check that guy in the chase, in other sports where guys defy age and reality, there’s a reason.

700 guys in the league and none are using any non-approved substance, uh-huh.

Happy St Patrick’s day! 🍀

I'm definitely curious as to what they'll do. A regular All-Star Game just doesn't feel like it'll work this time.

This is welcome news. I wouldn't like to see the 4Nations so soon, it would wear it out, but the All-Star events lineup as previously played is a boring format.

Guarantee the Isles be a co- host of the very next Challenge Cup. As a season ticket holder that would be fine with me. After the 4 Nations I can’t imagine sitting through a bore like the All Star Weekend.

Hold a 4 team tournament at UBS: East, West, NYPD, NYFD.

Of course, half the NHL stars would be on LTIR by the end of the thing....

:sarcasm:

I was willing to overlook the ticket increase for a chance to see an all star event at ubs. Wonder what the reps are gonna say now
to keep us?

I see Ryan McLeod had 4 points tonight for BUF. He's a guy who I always thought had potential to become a really good player, and he's having a nice season for BUF now. I wish the Isles could have made a deal for him. And BUF got him for Matthew Savoie, who I thought was over-hyped back in his draft year and isn't exactly setting the world on fire - seems like he might become another JGP. That was a good deal for BUF.

Chychrun gets an 8x9 deal from the Caps. Left handed shot vs Dobson being a right handed, similar age to Dobson, and Dobson also has him beat in Pts/G at 0.60 vs. 0.40. Not exactly a great sign for us if we were planning on signing Dobson to ~$8-$8.5 AAV.

Northeastern's Jack Williams signs with Columbus.

Thought he was MIGHTY impressive for them in the Hockey East playoffs and wasn't surprised in the least that he had 41 points in 37 games this season.
