What do the Flyers need to make it?
Regulation win on Tuesday (could be any type of win if Bruins beat the Caps tomorrow)

Penguins regulation loss in one of their final two games

Red Wings regulation loss in one of their final two games.

Pretty much for Detroit, Washington, and Pittsburgh to lose out.
Pretty much not any of this.

Absolutely wild that there is still a plausible scenario where they would actually clinch a spot on Tuesday.

I don’t see the Wings beating the Canadiens twice, in a back to back, tbh. Canadiens seem to relish playing spoiler and the back to back scenario makes it difficult for the Wings. Capitals and Penguins are playing the Bruins and Preds/Islanders which aren’t easy opponents. Basically it comes down to Philly beating the Caps and Pens losing one of their last games against Preds/Islanders.

If the Pens and Wings lose one of their last 2 games, the Flyers will lose.

If they both get the 3 points needed, the Flyers will win.

Basically the Flyers will do the opposite of whats needed....lose if it matters and win if its meaningless.

True. And even if they lose both their last games, I’m fully expecting the Flyers to get their shit pushed in by the Caps in the last home game, to a chorus of boos.

I have to say I thought Preds would be bottom 10 team this year. Did they overachieve or are they legit this good?

Thanks! I either wanted them to lose out the last week or make the playoffs lol

I posted earlier.

Easiest thing is the wings and pens lose and we win the next games.

If they lose to the caps they are dead.

If the red wings, penguins or caps win both of their final 2 games the rest of the way they are dead

Got to win the caps game or at the very least the caps get that last spot.
