Detroit actually followed through on blowing a 4-0 lead today after almost doing it against Buffalo last time out.

Back to back comeback OT victories for San Jose, too. :amazed:

All the Germans in the league are pretty damn good!
So I have Weiner Dogs and decided to turn one of my fantasy dynasty teams into "Bamburg Badger Hounds." I drafted every German except Drai (taken too soon) and Seider.

Peterka, Stutzle, Reichel, Sturm, Grubauer are all mine. Also have Lutz in my prospect pool

We focus on the right things:nod: we dont develop a lot of grinders or face puncher cause in the european league the rules are pretty soft so you get called for a lot of stuff. In the last century it was bad for european players to miss this physical training and hard nose mentality when they get to North America. Alot of players have had a difficult time with the NA style hockey. Now its more skill based and more speed. So the players from europe are very good prepared for the NA game. The Germans are intens workers and they have a few good development Systems in the league. So i think we will produce a lot of nhl players the next decades.

Draisaitl is the son of one of the best german player of the early days. He was a famous player for the cologne sharks. My Hometown team.

Seider didn't look too good tonight

Anyone have the story on Bo Byram? Avs fans really seem to be souring on him this year. Could be a good target as wasn’t he suppose to have top pair potential?

I wonder what they would want if he’s on the table? After Lindros, and Patrick, I’m wary of Byram who’s seemed to miss like half the games in his NHL career. The risk might be worth it though depending on the price. I wonder if something like Frost and a 1st gets them listening. It seems Frost has fallen out of favor with the team and he’ll turn 25 this season. Probably best to capitalize why he still has that youngish tag on him, either way, if he team doesn’t see him in their future

They used to call me The Cologne Shark. I'd walk into a room, smelling like a dream, and ask a lady "How YOU doin'?"

Dylan Larkin is motionless on the ice in Detroit.

Was on the bottom of a pile from a scramble in front of Ottawa's net...

Edit: he's up on his knees after a stretcher got called out... he's alert and skating off with help.

Took a Joseph cross check to the side of his head, which dropped him.
Hope he’s okay. No one wants that
