So we know he didn't bang Mrs. Bedard, but that's about it
Maybe it wasn't "sexual relations".

According to sources, an alcohol-fueled incident involving Perry was alleged to have occurred during an event that included corporate partners and team employees in attendance. It remains unclear what allegedly took place, who witnessed it, and who reported it to the team.

Fun little site for those who have a sub to athletic. For those who don't have a sub, Dom attempts to grade players total value with a number (+ is good - is bad). There are two numbers for each player...Current and Future numbers, he also provides market value vs salary and surplus value.

It's crazy how good the Carolina Hurricanes are at getting surplus value on contracts.

I'm looking through what I posed above, I did not realize Guentzel was a UFA after this season. Pens have a real decision to make on him. Currently, they are out of a playoff spot, but still being projected to be right on the edge (7-9th) in the eastern conference. Guentzel would bring back a haul for them - he'd be one of the best forward rentals, if not the best. But it seems clear they are going to push their chips all in over the next 2-3 years (until Crosby/Malkin/Letang retire).

Here's the thing, it's hard for to imagine Guentzel re-signing long term in PIT. Their best players are well over 30, and like I said, they probably only have 2-3 years until their stars retire. He's 29, so I doubt he's going to be looking for a 3-4 year deal (but maybe he does give a discount)....

I don't know, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Huh. That's an actual apology. I wasn't expecting that. Hopefully he gets whatever help he needs.

If he were a player in his early 20s I'd chalk it up to a harsh learning experience about boozey work events. But at his age and experience level, yeah, that's an alarming sign to get "Public Apology" drunk at work.

Oh shit that reminds me that my wife's workplace is having their annual mega-decadent holiday party. Beefette is the infant's food supply so she will be the DD. I can get "Public Apology" drunk at her work on free Glenlivet! Or Hendricks! Maybe I do tequila!
Consider this a vote for Hendricks, unless you need to fight a person or inanimate object while the inside of your body feels intensely hot, then go with the tequila.
