Does anyone have any updated comparisons?

I originally was hoping for stajan 2.0 as a realistic ceiling.

But he is hitting hard and seems to have a heavier shot (who knows how it will translate)

Who is his best comparable/projection?

Are we sure he has a low offensive ceiling? You always hear the radio experts like Sam Cosentino cap his upside at third line center but he kinda looks like he could be a number two...

I've heard a floor of a 3rd line centre, a ceiling of a 2nd line centre.

He's a rookie. He's going to have his ups and downs. It won't be until few years hes going to run his own line

I hate when people say this. Every player has ups and downs.

He's been a joy to watch.. perfectly fine with him staying in the lineup, but still would like the team to get a vet 3c to help out the bottom six though.

Reaves, Jarnkrok and whoever else can take a hike

Maybe a veteran 4th line centre, but it makes no sense to replace a rookie who is hungry and producing. The team has enough vets. It's time, the Leafs started promoting, more of their draft picks.

Can’t say I’ve noticed any glaring errors in his game which alone is quite impressive. Then factor in his production and it’s hard to believe he couldn’t fill a role better than some of our guys.
