Let's face it they're a very mediocre team. What is available from their end?
Everyone.
What is Brodin's value?
Brodin please if you guys are selling.
Spurgeon is the guy you should go after...only one more year of NMC, but he is an Albertan, and might consider waiving....certainly more than Brodin would. Spurgeon is simply a better Dman, and is RH. A late 1st and Bourgault simply doesn't get the ball rolling for either Dman, though.Brodin please if you guys are selling. Trade offer would be in the Ekholm trade valuation realm. Thinking out loud Edm's 2024 1st + Bourgault.
Obviously providing he'd waive for Edmonton. Killer offensive and running a D core with countrymen Ekholm and Broberg. We'd find trades for Ceci and Kulak for cap room and Yamamoto can be shown the door also.
Brodin is a left shot D that can play both sides correct? I recall him partnered with Klefbom playing LD.
Nurse - Brodin
Ekholm - Bouchard
Broberg - insert cheap 6/7D veterans
I mean they just played a good series with Dallas sans their 2nd best player and with Kaprizov hurt. They also have maybe the best prospect pool in the league. The buyouts are only a small piece of the puzzleI don't think they can really improve by that much for the next two years . The massive buyouts eat $14,743,588 for the next two years. Until thats gone the current state of the team is probably the ceiling.

And yet they just keep producing 100+ point seasons and have Rossi, Wallstedt and others poised to replace plugs like MAF, Reaves, Foligno. Fairly obvious road to improvement.I just don't think you can win very much with ~$15M in dead cap. You really would need your cheap ELC guys to step up massively.

Our head coach hasn’t won a round in playoffs since 2004-05 when he was coaching in WHL.3 straight first round losses. The $15M less of cap mean alot of less depth for the team
with $15m less in players he's has a significant handicap. Our head coach hasn’t won a round in playoffs since 2004-05 when he was coaching in WHL.
While we have issues in our team, Evason is the biggest issue of all.
He has a handicap yes, but he’s also incapable of adjusting when things aren’t working.with $15m less in players he's has a significant handicap.
the wild have very little to sell. they need to keep their cheap players and its not like they are going to move kaprizov or ek. the team is a mess
what do you see as the goal for the wild next season? He has a handicap yes, but he’s also incapable of adjusting when things aren’t working.
Team is fine. Our biggest need is at C, otherwise we’re ok. We have a strong prospect pool.
Getting past first round. We’re too good to tank.what do you see as the goal for the wild next season?
So you expect improvement with a team severely limited by the cap? It seems pretty unreasonableGetting past first round. We’re too good to tank.
Not really unreasonable. With a good coach and JEE playing the Stars series would have been winnable. So you expect improvement with a team severely limited by the cap? It seems pretty unreasonable
Sharangovich is 3 years older and worse than Boldy. Wild counter with Joel Eriksson Ek for Jack HughesSharangovich would be a perfect fit for Minnesota. Every team needs a bielorussian player.
Sharangovich for Boldy. Young gun for young gun. And like that, we help the Wild opening some cap space.
