Sure doesn’t look like there is room.

Guerin may have an extra $4-6M of cap this summer. Blueline will be crowded if Buium and/or Jiricek are ready. I’d still like a veteran for the middle 6 as insurance for Yurov & Ohgren not being ready or for Zucc falling off.

Sure seems like they are keying in on a free agent top 6 forward (Nelson, Boeser or other). Wonder if they trade Hartman in the offseason.

I’m hoping Hartman is injured and the new baby at home is killing his focus. He has lost every intangible part of his game that used to create value if he wasn’t scoring or being utilized in a scoring role. I can’t believe it’s just disappeared. I was sure Hartman was the kind of guy I loved having on the team and I still am sure of it.
 
Do you think there could be an offer sheet for Rossi in the Offseason? Let's say a feanchise offers him 7,5 mio for 4 years. Would you match that?

Could be anything. My guess is food poisoning, he was probably over at Zuke's house during christmas and ate some kind of norweigan stuff. They can't cook for shit.

I agree but we all were so certain that the pick would be 25+. Myself included. Owe it’s just as realistic that it’s 13. That changes the dynamic of the trade a little bit.

While they have had problems with secondary scoring and the PK, part of the fall has been due to guys like Gus, Ek, and Brodin missing time. And now Kaprizov. Injuries aren't always an excuse, but no team is gonna do well when losing one or two top key players. Just isn't gonna happen.

And I say that as someone who has had this team finishing as a bubble team. They were not gonna stay at the top of the standings. Teams like the Avs were gonna figure their game out, and better teams were gonna get rolling.
