They are also missing key parts of the PK right now with Ek and Brodin. Putting pressure on guys on the PK is great until it turns into chasing guys on the PK. You need the players for that and I don’t see those players on the Wild except for Marat. They are too slow to really execute that well right now. LA for example did very well against us with that approach. But by far not everyone in the league is putting pressure on the opposing team shorthanded. It’s not the be all end all solution.

Regarding yesterday: you need to pressure dangerous players who get the puck in their wheelhouse. So Keller having the puck twice from where he is best at without being pressured is exactly the kind of detail they need to fix. Better preparation, better execution whichever failed yesterday.
Agreed. Like I said I'm not wizard but it's just Hella frustrating😔

PK, PP, and goaltending decisions. But we usually die every postseason with special teams evenly split down the middle between the PK and PP. Never fails.
Like Deano benching Gus after a phenomenal game and starting Flower?

Jake Middletoe is leading the NHL with +22, Kap is second with +21. Awesome.
Faber is nr 22 with +14.

I know we just traded Hunt away, but sure would be nice if 1 of the 10 different LD we drafted in the last 5 years was close to NHL ready right about now.

The fact that 1st and 2nd round LHD's such as ROR, Lambos, and Peart are not even being considered as injury call ups doesn't speak well of our drafting, or developing. All have they have to be is Merrill level.

Throw them into the fire and see what happens?
