They are also missing key parts of the PK right now with Ek and Brodin. Putting pressure on guys on the PK is great until it turns into chasing guys on the PK. You need the players for that and I don’t see those players on the Wild except for Marat. They are too slow to really execute that well right now. LA for example did very well against us with that approach. But by far not everyone in the league is putting pressure on the opposing team shorthanded. It’s not the be all end all solution.
Regarding yesterday: you need to pressure dangerous players who get the puck in their wheelhouse. So Keller having the puck twice from where he is best at without being pressured is exactly the kind of detail they need to fix. Better preparation, better execution whichever failed yesterday.
