How Wild prospect David Jiricek is handling scratches — and development: ‘You have to have patience’
Jiricek isn't as ticked off as Wild fans but would obviously rather be in the lineup. "I'm not going to lie, I still want to play."www.nytimes.com
They forced their hand and now they have no leverage... The only leverage he has left to use is his play, that's a lot of pressure on a young kid.he and his agent were super pushy when he was in columbus about how he should be playing in the NHL (and in the top four) pretty much since the start of the 23-24 season.
it's fair to wonder how much of this is a genuine attitude change versus the agent realizing the optics of doing that to yet another team that doesn't think he's ready.
How is this a big oof for Minnesota?looks like a big oof for the wild
You'll definitely find it's always something with this kid. There is no conspiracy or playing issue with Jiricek. It was a logistic issues.
