Sure makes you regret believing the grass is always greener when the exact thing you became accustomed to suddenly happens to you. Mikko is a playoff gamebreaker and is deserving of that reputation, especially after tonight. Congrats to him for proving CMac wrong.

This was my biggest worry in losing Mikko. Not necessarily him ending up in Dallas and eliminating us. But losing an elite talent is losing an elite talent. Necas is good. But his best just doesn't compete with Mikko's. Not even close.

Not only tonight.. basically all four nights that really really matter (even though Avs won some of those).

I have no hard feelings towards Rantanen. He wanted to get paid in line with what the market will pay. Avs balked at the amount and didn't want to risk him walking for nothing.

He certainly showed his worth to Stars in this series. Avs could and should have done a much better job against him the last two games.
