I have a Mikko signed puck a Mikko signed jersey. I loved him on the Avs and despite his weaknesses, his strengths were ALL time Avalanche level. It was the correct deal, as long as this is followed by Makar 14x8... or whatever it costs.

Nah. Foppa was a C and one of the best to do it. Mikko is the best winger the Avs have ever had. The only one that comes close is Hejduk.

I'm thinking about the Global Series game against Columbus in Tampere, Fin where I finally got to see the Avs live. To put icing on that cake, Mikko scores a hatty and we all go crazy. When exiting the arena everyone on the streets of Tampere were chanting "Miiiiikko Rantanen! Mikko Rantanen! Miiiiikko Rantanen! Mikko Rantanen!"

It’s a sad day as an Avs fan but the signs were there. Hope he kills it in Carolina but happy we got some quality back. Honestly don’t know what to expect from this team over the next few games after this monster shakeup. Let it be known that sleepy Cmac does indeed have big balls.

I started following the Avalanche because of Mikko. I started following the NYR because of Kakko. Now both have been traded in the span of a month. Tough.

Well, I've grown past the players and become a fan of the teams during these years. So need to look forward now.
