Send Stoll down and bring Richards up. If he is still a fail, then flip a ****ing coin between the two of them. Sending Shore down would be a huge mistake.
Fully agree with this. Shore has been solid for us during his time here and he deserves to play in the NHL.

I'm sure Richards can provide more than Stoll has over the past 30+ games. If they're testing his fitness level/conditioning, one would think they're giving consideration in bringing him up for a playoff run.

maybe he got injured in the AHL and they are doing the fitness testing to prove it so they can put him on LTIR. Send down shore to call up richards to put richards on LTIR to call up shore.
Although not sure how saving his cap would help now that the deadline is over.

Do i actually think this is what is going on, nope.

I wouldn't mind seeing Richards fill in for Stoll for a few games. I don't think he was a bad center this year for him to be a serious liability and cost us points. The biggest issue with Richards was for his cap hit, he should have played better. Assuming arguendo that Richards and Stoll got paid the same salary and had the same cap it, I would pick Richards over Stoll any day of the week. I think he is still capable of getting 30-40 points a year.

Another thing that the Kings can do is experiment playing Richards on the wing if they are concerned about his defensive play. I wouldn't mind seeing a Richards-Carter-Toffoli line during the playoffs.

Ha, what a wreck. Dude is so out of shape they have to babysit him now. Lol.

The organization is testing him to see where he's at but I'll be sure to refer them to Dr Johnny Utah who has already reached his conclusion so they can save time and money

And you all thought I was crazy lol and the picture was from my friend don't know why he took the picture from behind richards oh well at least reddit confirmed it now so I didn't seem crazy hahaha

This is probably the best example of your bias against Richards. Just couldn't keep it to yourself, eh?

Dr. Johnny Utah is not a good doctor if he has already reached his conclusion prior to physically examining him. I would refer him to Dr. Shane Doan instead; at least he shares the same towels with his patients.

Life is truly stranger than fiction; kudos to you for breaking the story.

What truly disappoints me in this whole saga? Jon Rosen, who apparently doesn't know what the **** he is talking about. After you contacted him on twitter for confirmation, he denied it, saying he was still in Manchester, without even bothering to follow up.

Now that he has to eat crow and admit he ****ed up yesterday, he dismisses it out of hand and says it's some kind of "conditioning assignment." Well, I call BS. I definitely think they are gauging him for a return to the Kings for their stretch and playoff runs.

I think ancient aliens have something to do with all of this.

Supposedly richards is in LA my buddy works at Toyota and sent me a pic of him practicing call up maybe?

I want to give props to KOPITARRULEZ11 for being correct even though he was mocked by a few posters and even after the insider denied it. I am so appreciative that I am considering making my next username KOPITARRULEZ1111

I don't see how he comes up before the playoffs unless someone gets injured though. Stoll has been brutal but I would not want to subject him to waivers
Shore has made clifford and Nolan signings look like real steals
Andy A....ok we could lose him on waivers and I would be ok with it.

I think he comes up once there are no limits to roster size (which i think is the playoffs) of if someone gets injured. Why risk losing anyone to waivers if you do not have to

He's a guarantee to be a Black Ace at the least. I doubt they are debating calling him up.

he's the Kings Insider, hired by the Kings. Maybe LA didn't want it out that Richards was in LA for a day? This isn't Toronto, players I bet get away with a lot that isn't reported. In Toronto they would have met Richards at the airport.

Doesn't everyone think it's strange that Richards' had to come all the way to LA to get his fitness tested? I mean, how many other 5 million dollar players is this happening to?

I sure do. You would think they would have trainers in manchester that could send a report to dean, and form there they could tell if he is ready to be re-called or whatever their plans are with him.
It could be something as small as he needed to come to the city to take care of some personal affairs, and while here they brought him in just to see where he was at.

would he miss three consecutive games due to 'personal affairs' though?
I dont think management would let that happen if it werent for something extremely serious. methinks he's getting a second chance

Not as strange as you spelling his last name with an apostrophe
