Mike Modano Statue to be Erected

The Dallas Stars announced today that Mike Modano will be honored with a statue outside of American Airlines Center. I personally find Mr. Modano a fine candidate to be encrusted in bronze.

Probably a top 2-3 American forward of all time? Id have Kane then Modano then Hull personally. Modano played through a lower scoring era than Hull did so I give him some benefit for that.

Wonder if they'll get his jersey flappin in the wind. He was my favorite player growing up in Dallas. I remember meeting him in a grocery store where he was doing a promotional event to bring awareness of the Stars to the community. There was no one at his foldout table so we stayed and chatted for a bit. He seemed very kind
